On January 14th, you may have seen the video posted on the social media of the Youtuber Matt MacMillan (Abington, Pennsylvania, U.S.A.) where he uses the sounds of his baby Ryan to make a sound realization based on the mythical AC/DC’s Thunderstruck. His video went around the world with 652 k views in just one week.
Our Soundviz team obviously did not miss out on this sound creation and it reminded us of some of the sound wave creations from our customers who wanted to keep a timeless memory of their baby’s first words or also of the first heartbeats recorded during an ultrasound scan (see our article on recording heartbeat sound waves ).
The sound wave above was made based on Matt MacMillan’s video, and inspired by the colors of the AC/DC Thunderstruck cover and finally of course all this assembled on our free sound wave generator.

About AC/DC and their title Thunderstruck
The choice of this music for Matt MacMillan’s creation also inspired us because it is an essential choice for the biggest AC/DC fans. The track Thunderstruck is obviously an essential choice in the Soundviz creations that we have already seen.
(Wiki)
Thunderstruck is the lead single on the 1990 album The Razors Edge by Australian hard rock band AC/DC.
The song was released as a single in Germany, Australia, and Japan, and peaked at No. 5 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks. In 2010, “Thunderstruck” topped Triple M‘s Ultimate 500 Rock Countdown in Melbourne, Australia. The top five were all AC/DC songs.
Angus Young stated in the liner notes of the 2003 re-release of The Razors Edge:
It started off from a little trick I had on guitar. I played it to Mal and he said ‘Oh, I’ve got a good rhythm idea that will sit well in the back.’ We built the song up from that. We fiddled about with it for a few months before everything fell into place. Lyrically, it was really just a case of finding a good title … We came up with this thunder thing, based on our favorite childhood toy ThunderStreak, and it seemed to have a good ring to it. AC/DC = Power. That’s the basic idea.
